Saturday so far.
I got my cameras charged and emptied, changed the sheets, got a shower, and folded some towels all before bed last night. I did have trouble falling asleep till after midnight.
Today I woke up with a swollen tonsil. I had my tonsils removed in 1999, but at least one grew back on the left side; I first found it in 2007 when it turned solid white and enlarged. Since then it has swollen up at least 2 more times; each time it gets covered in white dots. It hurts, and it means I need to check my temperature throughout the day. So far my temp has been 98.2; I am really hoping this will pass with no fever, but I'll go to the dollar store later and get Tylenol just in case. Also my nose is getting runnier - bad sign - especially along with the light-headedness I feel. Ugh, let's hope this isn't swine flu creeping in.
I read the morning news, saw pictures of an old friend's new baby, emptied the dryer, made the twins breakfast, entered my sweepstakes, and filled out a survey all before 9:30 this morning. After the twins finished eating and cleaning their rooms, we went to Home Depot. We built a message center and looked at Disney paint swatches. Hubby gave me money to get the kids Burger King kid's meals - they really wanted GI Joe toys. So we stopped by Burger King on the way home. After they ate, they went outside with hubby to ride in their Jeeps. Our package from my grandmother arrived just before hubby left for work...the kids loved their new Pinocchio bags!
I took the kids out to ride bikes, but it started raining. We headed to the pet store to look at animals - no intention of buying anything. Then we went to Dollar Tree for Comet and Tylenol (and gauze and bath toys). We came home and snacked on cheese puffs - mmm. My temperature was only 98.8, but I took a Tylenol anyway.
The rain (on top of little sleep last night AND a sore throat) makes for a tired pregnant woman! I'm going to try to get a nap before dinner - wish me luck.
