Wednesday
I'll be going to the doctor shortly - just for a check-up. I'm curious to see if the baby has dropped like I think he has. Also, I suspect my cervix is thinning out - maybe even dilating a little more. I think I've gained weight - probably just water weight. It would not surprise me to have a non-stress test done due to the amazing number of contractions I've had. I have some money from hubby to get gas and pay for parking. Hubby will be keeping the kids for me.
I need to stop at the dollar store on the way home and get some things - hand soap, spray bottle, masking tape, etc. I've already gone out in the rain to buy cokes.
I'm hoping to visit my mom Saturday - I thought hubby could come with us since he is off work, but he is playing in a tournament. Of course, I COULD have a baby before Saturday - that would throw a wrench in the works!
The dentist update - neither twin has any cavities. J has a little calculus from his addiction to milk. The new rule is milk and juice ONLY at mealtime - water anytime. That rule is "new" to me because I grew up drinking what I wanted, any time I wanted. Me and hubby have always drank coke (or tea or other soda) all day and night - thus we have really BAD teeth. Seriously, I don't recall drinking water until my 20's (except at water fountains). Anyway, the kids don't mind - they like water. It also helps me limit J's intake of milk - before he would drink many, many glasses of milk every day...now he only gets 3 - max.
Today hubby's mom turns 59! This is her first sober (and non-smoking) birthday in tons and tons of years. We don't have anything special planned - I'm thinking art project to make a nice card or banner later. She doesn't like cake or sweets, and she is trying to watch her weight - so no food.
